Hyland Durant
Hyland Durant founded Durant Legal in 2017 while relocating her family from Portland to the Willamette Valley.
While in Portland, and before that in Colorado, Hyland practiced business law at Perkins Coie and Davis Graham and Stubbs. Her practice focused on debt and equity financing, emerging growth companies, commercial contracts, and mergers and acquisitions. While Hyland pursued her career and raised her family in Portland, her free time was often spent in the Valley exploring the beautiful landscape and returning to her culinary roots. During her time in the Valley, Hyland saw a need for more accessible legal services to support the local community and its burgeoning growth.
Before attending law school, Hyland studied the culinary arts and saw that providing her legal services to small businesses in the Valley would be the perfect pairing of Hyland’s legal skills and her love of food and wine.
